— Theft
Someone stole copper tubing worth $2,000 from heat pump units at 441 Lake Plaza on North Columbia Street on Monday, a sheriff’s report states.

— Bomb Threat
Police officers responded to two 911 calls concerning a bomb threat called in at Oak Hills Middle School on Blandy Road Monday. Police worked with school officials to clear the school and search for the alleged bomb, a police report states.

— Forgery
A Subway restaurant employee was preparing a bank deposit Monday when they discovered six counterfeit $100 bills, a police report states.

— Counterfeit
Police officers responded to a complaint from a Wal-Mart employee at the retailer’s North Columbia Street location who said they received two counterfeit $10 bills Monday, a police report states.

— Gas drive off
Someone stole $12 of gas from Flash Foods station on North Jefferson Street Monday at 3 p.m., a police report states.

— Gas drive off
A black male in a burgundy pick up truck stole $20 of gas from the Jet Food Store on South Wayne Street Monday at 7:45 p.m., a police report states.

— Simple assault-simple battery
James Gantt, 22, of 124 N. Wayne St. was arrested Tuesday at 1 a.m. for simple assault-simple battery following an altercation at the Capital City Club on South Wayne Street in which Gantt punched a person in the face, a police report states.
