— Adult Learning Center at Central Georgia Technical College holds morning classes Monday through Thursdays from 8:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., afternoon classes Monday through Wednesday from 1:20 p.m. to 3:20 p.m., and evening classes Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Orientation and screening are held once a month. — Andalusia, the home of famed Georgia author Flannery O’Connor, is now open to the public each Monday, Tuesday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, visit www.andalusiafarm.org or call the Milledgeville Convention and Visitors Bureau at (478) 454-4029.
— Harriet’s Closet, a free supply closet to help fill the needs of cancer patients, is open from noon to 4 p.m. each Monday in Room 413 of Oconee Regional Medical Center. Free beauty makeovers are given to cancer patients the last Monday of each month by Carol Griffin, a Mary Kay consultant. Call (478) 453-0295 to make a

— The Old Capital Museum located in Old Capital Square at Greene and Jefferson Streets in the historic district is open Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Museum admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, $3 for students, and children six and under are free.
— The Old Governor’s Mansion is open for individual and tour groups. The tours are conducted from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays, and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays. — The Old Governor’s Mansion museum store is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays, and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays. The store is a part of the Old Governor’s Mansion and Auxiliary Services of GCSU and features books and unusual gifts for every occasion.
— The Mary Vinson Memorial Library hosts Frank’s Friends, a book nook located on the second floor in a corner all its own. Used books, DVDs, VHS, and audios are available at reasonable prices. Frank’s Friends is open Monday and Tuesdays 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., Wednesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Frank’s Friends is donation based with all proceeds going to Friends of the Mary Vinson Memorial Library who provide children’s programs and other activities throughout the year.
— Jimmy Helms an Elton Parks perform jazz and variety music at 119 Chops on the first, second and third Tuesday nights.
