MILLEDGEVILLE — I read with interest your response to the audiotapes of an unadvertised City Council meeting. Instead of addressing the problem you chose to start an investigation on who did the tape! You got caught in unethical and harmful actions against a citizen of Baldwin County who had criticized your action regarding unification.
However, you retaliated against the citizen’s employer instead of looking at the person who initiated this retaliation, specifically the city manager. That person should be fired for unethical practices. The city attorney who chose not to say anything about the City Council meeting that was illegal should also be replaced.
One last observation, everyone should reconsider who they voted for in regard to the City Council members’ comments at the illegal meeting. Unfortunately, they cannot be fired, but we sure can vote them out when they come up for reelection and be replaced with people who are capable of voting for the best interest of the citizens of Baldwin County and the City of Milledgeville
