During their recent stay, they had dinner at a restaurant in Covington, Ky. where they fell in love with goetta, a popular processed meat of the area that is composed of ground beef, steel cut oats and various spices.
“It was really good and reminded me of souse meat that we have here in Georgia,” said Houston.
The Houstons are already looking forward to the 127 Corridor Sale for 2014 and are eagerly counting down to the day when they load up and head out once again.
“It’s four days of having a wonderful time plus you get to buy some one of kind antiques at low prices," he said. "You can’t beat that.”
