MILLEDGEVILLE — Jason Miller’s college professor always said to “surround yourself with people of integrity; surround yourself with dependable people; and surround yourself with unselfish people, then take good care of them.”
That’s the advise Miller has continued to live by since working for the John Milledge Academy family for the past six years as an original product of the school. Miller plans to follow Dr. Fred Stephenson’s motto as he says farewell to Milledgeville and prepares for his new life and career venture in Athens.
Miller attended JMA from kindergarten through his high school graduation 1995. He went on to earn his bachelors of business administration with a major in marketing from the University of Georgia in 2000 where he worked for the athletic department for the next six years.
He moved back to his alma mater in 2006 to begin his duties as director of development before Mark Hopkins became head of school last year and Miller’s title changed to director of admissions.
Miller’s last day with JMA will be June 7 before beginning work June 11 at a physician recruitment and practice management firm called Radar Healthcare Providers Inc.
Once Miller leaves, his open position’s responsibilities will be handled by Business Office Manager Dianne Bayne who also takes care of admissions.
