MILLEDGEVILLE — Georgia College will host The Distracted Driving Program March 12 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 231 W. Hancock St. The community is invited.

The UGA Extension office is offering assistance to local residents seeking to enroll in health coverage through the Health Insurance Marketplace. The deadline to apply for coverage is March 31. All high school students in Georgia’s 10th Congressional District are invited to participate in the 2014 Congressional Art Competition. 10 a.m.: The Sinclair Water Authority, Putnam County and Baldwin County will hold a public meeting regarding meters at 126 Cay Drive SE.

10:30 a.m.: A Senior Olympic badminton club will be held at the Baldwin County Recreation Department gym.

10:30 a.m.: Milledgeville’s four garden clubs present their annual joint workshop at First United Methodist Church on Log Cabin Road. Tickets are $10 and include lunch. 11 a.m.: The public is invited to attend a weekly meeting at the Collins P. Lee Center at 237 Harrisburg Road to discuss plans for the Lucille Harris Community Garden and Solomon Harris Walking Trail, as well as to hear updates about efforts by the Parks & Recreation Dept., Milledgeville Community Garden Association, Baldwin Family Connection and the Habitat for Humanity Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative.
