The Animal Rescue Foundation Inc. (ARF) will hold its 15th Annual ARF Auction on Saturday, March 2, at the Milledgeville Country Club. Tickets are $40 and there will be heavy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.
Ocmulgee Court Appointed Special Advocates is looking for volunteers for its next training session. CASA is a non-profit organization that works with abused and neglected children that have found themselves involved in the court system through no fault of their own. These children need a voice in court and that is the role of CASA to see that these children have an opportunity to have their voices heard and to received services needed. The City of Milledgeville water department will be conducting maintenance on the 1 million gallon ground storage water tank located on Dunlap Road. The tank will be out of service beginning Jan. 29 and will remain out of service for approximately six weeks. This is part of the City’s preventive maintenance program to ensure a high quality of drinking water for our customers.
