MILLEDGEVILLE — In support of Relay for Life Century Bank is providing Easter candygrams for $2 and $4, the latter includes a bean bag animal. Belk’s will host a Charity Sale on Saturday, April 27 from 6 to 10 a.m. Tickets are $5 and all proceeds from tickets sales go to Relay for Life. For more information or to purchase a candygram or sale ticket contact Tammy Lee at tammylee@centurybankonline.com. Piggly Wiggly is also asking for $1 donations at checkout all through March.

Baldwin County Schools will hold kindergarten registration for children 5 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2013. Registration will be held weekdays March 18-29 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Birth certificate, proof of residence, current immunization form, eye, ear and dental forms and a social security card are required. For school zone questions call (478) 457-2405.

Beginning in April and May IMPACT pre-service training classes to become a foster or adoptive parent will take place. They will be held in Gray and are free. For more information call 1 (877) 210-5437 or (478) 445-7020.

Belk is currently recruiting local non-profit groups to participate in its semi-annual Charity Sale Fundraiser on April 27. Any non-profit organization with 501c3 status is eligible. Participating charities raise money by selling tickets for $5 each, which entitles purchasers to attend a private 4-hour sale. The entire $5 from every ticket sold goes to the participating charity so it's a great fund-raising opportunity for your church, school or community organization.  The more tickets sold, the more money raised. Wednesday, March 27

7:30 a.m.: Lake Oconee Promise Keepers meets at The River of Life center on Scott Road. Jack Minchey (706) 473-0431.

10:30 a.m.: The Oconee Master Gardeners Association, in cooperation with UGA Cooperative Extension, will be hosting "Growing Great Roses-How to Have Flowers, Color and Fragrance April through December.” Join them as local UGA Master Gardener Extension Volunteer Barbie Colvin shares her secrets to proper pruning, fertilizing and disease control. The presentation will be held at the new Baldwin County Extension Office located at 320 Linda Drive in Milledgeville. The presentation if free and open to everyone.

10:30 a.m. to noon: Free computer classes for seniors will be held at the Senior Citizens Center in Baldwin County.

1 p.m.: Falun Gong exercise class will be held at Central City Park (formerly Bonner Park) free of charge. Cultivate mind and body with 5 sets of easy-to-learn exercises good for all ages and all physical conditions. For more information, call (478) 453-4241.

6 p.m.: The Bicycling Club of Milledgeville & Baldwin County meets in the basement of Blackbird Coffee on Hancock Street. Join cyclists of all types, ages and levels of ability to discuss plans for upcoming rides. Visit http://mvillebikes.com.

1 to 3 p.m.: Digital Bridges Open Computer Clinic is open in the Knight Community Innovation Center, 127 W. Hancock St. Work station availability is limited. The clinic is designed to teach basic skills to adult beginning computer users. Participants may come with specific questions or for general knowledge. 3 to 5 p.m.: Mary Vinson Memorial Library, 151 S. Jefferson St., will host a We Read Program. Children may read with a designated reader and choose a special prize. For more information contact Youth Services at (478) 452-0677 ext. 129.
