MILLEDGEVILLE — The Old Governor’s Mansion presents its Christmas at the Mansion tours Nov. 27 and Dec. 3-23. Candlelight tours will feature: Music by Sweet Georgia Sound (Dec. 7), the Milledgeville Singers Guild (Dec. 14), the First Baptist Church Handbell Choir (Dec. 19). On Dec. 11 from 1 to 3:15 p.m. the Max Noah singers will perform in the rotunda.

Milledgeville Main Street introduces Downtown Dollars, gift certificates to support local businesses. They can be purchased in denominations of $5 and can be used at more than 30 locations downtown. They will be available starting Nov. 25 and can be purchased in the Main Street office, 127 E. Hancock St. For a list of participating merchants visit the Main Street Facebook.

The 2012 Georgia River of Words exhibition is open and available for viewing from now until early December at the Mary Vinson Memorial Library, 151 S. Jefferson St. River of Words is an international environmental poetry and arts project that is coordinated by Georgia Project WET and the Georgia Center for the Book. All courthouse non-emergency departments will close at 2 p.m.

10:30 a.m.-noon: Free computer classes for seniors will be held at the Senior Citizens Center in Baldwin County.

1 p.m.: Falun Gong exercise class will be held at Central City Park (formerly Bonner Park) free of charge. Cultivate mind and body with five sets of easy-to-learn exercises good for all ages and all physical conditions. For more information call 478-453-4241.
