MILLEDGEVILLE — The Old Governor’s Mansion will feature Civil War era exhibits throughout November. “Lincoln: the Constitution and the Civil War” will be on display until Nov. 15. “Out the Change the World: The Life and Works of John Oliver Killins” will be featured at the Sallie Ellis Davis House from Oct. 30.

Georgia College’s Student Performance Series will present jazz band concerts at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 7 and 8 in Russell Auditorium. For more information cal 478-445-8289.

Tri-County EMC is hosting a design contest until Nov. 8 for its 2013 Christmas Card. Students grades kindergarten through fifth who live in a household served by Tri-County EMC may enter. For more information visit www.tri-countyemc.com.

The Oconee Valley Iris Club will hold its annual Fall Iris Show at the Milledgeville Mall. Entries will be accepted from 9-10:45 a.m. Nov. 9. The show is open to the public from 1-4 p.m.

The Oconee Regional Symphony Orchestra will host a fundraiser at Chick-fil-a Nov. 19 from 5-8 p.m. Members of the orchestra will perform holiday music inside the restaurant.
