MILLEDGEVILLE — The seventh annual Family Fun Day presented by Tracy Harper Productions will be held May 31 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Pecan Grove at Central State Hospital. The event will have free food and drinks as well as free games. There will also be a waterslide, a clown and music. Prizes will be given away. For information contact Tracy Harper 478-454-7556.

Oconee Chapter 400 will hold a cookout and picnic May 31 starting at 11 a.m. at the American Legion, 231 Log Cabin Road. Entry is $5 per person. There will be door prizes and an auction as well as food. A DJ will entertain between noon and 3 p.m. All proceeds will benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

The YES Program is taking applications for the Baldwin High School Summer YES Program (June 2-26, Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-noon) for all rising ninth grade students. Applications are available at the front office of Baldwin High School or by e-mailing julie.cook@gcsu.edu. Enrollment is limited. No transportation will be provided.

The Baldwin County Nutrition Department will provide free meals to children during the summer June 2-July 25 (no meals will be served July 4). Summer meals will be served at two locations: GNETS, 1300 B. Orchard Hill Road, and BHS, 155 Highway 49 West. Breakfast will be from 7-8 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Lunch will be delivered to the following sites: Graham Homes, 11 a.m.; Pine Knoll Apartments, 11:25 a.m.; Duplex City, 11:45 a.m.; River Bend Apartments, 12:10 p.m.; The Manor, 12:40 p.m.; Finnagan’s Mobile Home Park, 1:05 p.m.; 5th Street Mobile Home Park, 1:30 p.m.; Lockwood Mobile Home Park, 1:50 p.m.

7:30 a.m.: Lake Oconee Promise Keepers meets at The River of Life center on Scott Road. Jack Minchey 706-473-0431.

10:30 a.m.-noon: Free computer classes for seniors will be held at the Senior Citizens Center in Baldwin County.

11:30 a.m.: The Georgia Chamber will host a 2014 Regional Power Lunch at Georgia College. Registration begins prior to the noon lunch. Georgia Chamber president and CEO Chris Clark will discuss key business legislation and priority initiatives. For more information visit www.gachamber.com/powerlunch.

1 p.m.: Falun Gong exercise class will be held at Central City Park (formerly Bonner Park) free of charge. Cultivate mind and body with five sets of easy-to-learn exercises good for all ages and all physical conditions. For more information call 478-453-4241.

5:30-7:30 p.m.: The Milledgeville Chapter of the UGA Alumni Association will hold Bulldogs After Business Hours at Jackson’s on Sinclair, 3065 N. Columbia St. All alumni, friends and UGA supporters are invited. There will be a $5 cover charge at the door for appetizers. 6 p.m.: The Oconee Regional Medical Center Inc. and the Oconee Regional Health System Inc. Board of Directors will hold a special called meeting in ORMC’s Administrative Suite Broad Room to discuss strategic issues.

6 p.m.: The Bicycling Club of Milledgeville & Baldwin County meets in the basement of Blackbird Coffee on Hancock Street. Join cyclists of all types, ages and levels of ability to discuss plans for upcoming rides. Visit http://mvillebikes.com.
