MILLEDGEVILLE — The sixth annual Sara Willoughby Memorial Alex’s Lemonade Stand will be held Nov. 18-23 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. each day in the Park Tower lobby at Oconee Regional Medical Center. Proceeds benefit the program which helps fund childhood cancer research.

The Oconee Regional Symphony Orchestra will host a fundraiser at Chick-fil-a Nov. 19 from 5-8 p.m. Members of the orchestra will perform holiday music inside the restaurant.

New Born Faith Cathedral, 111 Hardwick St., will hold a Fall Festival Nov. 22 from 5 to 10 p.m. There will be free food, live music, games and prizes. The festival is free.

A fundraiser benefiting Eugene “Mutt” Taylor will take place Nov. 23 at Foster’s Meat Market, 810 S. Elbert St. from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Barbecue chicken or fish plates will be sold for $7. For more information call 478-251-7493.

Salvation Army needs volunteers for bell ringers this holiday season. For more information contact Millie Day at 478-452-7511.

Monday, Nov. 18

7:30 a.m.: Lake Oconee Promise Keepers meets at The River of Life center on Scott Road. Jack Minchey 706-473-0431.

Noon: BCREA’s general membership will meet at the First Presbyterian Church for a covered dish luncheon. A recognition ceremony will be given honoring Dr. John Lounsbury. Please bring a canned food item, a donation of school supplies and dimes for the charity bottle.

Noon: Milledgeville Exchange Club meets at the Milledgeville Country Club.

Noon-4 p.m.: Harriet’s Closet, a free supply closet to help fill the needs of cancer patients, is open. The nonprofit organization dedicated to helping cancer patients in Central Georgia has relocated next door to Georgia Cancer Specialists at Oconee Regional Medical Center. 3-5 p.m.: A free computer clinic will be held in the Mary Vinson Library. Community members can sign up for a 30-minute session to get one on one assistance. Contact Rebecca Hattaway at rebecca@thedigitalbridges.org or call the Georgia College GIVE Center at 478-445-5700 and ask for Rebecca.

5 p.m.: The Sinclair Water Authority meets at 126 Cay Drive, Milledgeville.

5:30 and 6 p.m.: The BHS School Council will meet in Room 200 at BHS. A PTO/Open House will follow in the Fine Arts Auditorium.

6:30 p.m.: The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 523 meets at the American Legion Post 523 on Martin Luther King Drive.

7 p.m.: The Milledgeville Singers Guild will meet at the First United Methodist Church, 366 Log Cabin Road. For more information, or to join, contact Jay Hodges at jayhodges610@yahoo.com.

7 p.m.: BINGO is held at the American Legion on Log Cabin Road. No one under the age of 18 is permitted. Refreshments are sold by the Ladies Auxiliary. 478-452-8538

7-8:30 p.m.: Northside Baptist Church, 1001 N. Jefferson St., offers free Citizenship Classes. Free childcare is provided. Contact 478-452-6648.

7:30 p.m.: The Oconee River Buskers Square Dance Club meets at the Walter B. Williams Recreation Center.
