MILLEDGEVILLE — Local meetings and events.

Monday, May 20

7:30 a.m.: Lake Oconee Promise Keepers meets at The River of Life center on Scott Road. Jack Minchey 706-473-0431.

Noon: Baldwin County Retired Educators Association (BCREA) will host its annual installation banquet in the fellowship hall of the First Presbyterian Church. Officers will be installed by Rita Marable, president of GREA. The event is a covered dish meal. All retired educators are welcome.

Noon to 4 p.m.: Harriet’s Closet, a free supply closet to help fill the needs of cancer patients, is open. The nonprofit organization dedicated to helping cancer patients in Central Georgia has relocated next door to Georgia Cancer Specialists building at Oconee Regional Medical Center. Noon: Milledgeville Exchange Club meets at the Milledgeville Country Club.

5 to 7 p.m.: Mary Vinson Memorial Library and Digital Bridges host a Computer Clinic at the Library, 151 S. Jefferson St. The clinic is designed to teach basic skills to adult beginning computer users. Participants may come with specific questions or for general knowledge. 6:30 p.m.: The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 523 meets at the American Legion Post 523 on Martin Luther King Drive.

7 p.m.: BINGO is held at the American Legion on Log Cabin Road. No one under the age of 18 is permitted. Refreshments are sold by the Ladies Auxiliary. 478-452-8538.

7:30 p.m.: The Oconee River Buskers Square Dance Club meets at the Walter B. Williams Recreation Center.
