Noon-4 p.m.: Harriet's Closet, a free supply closet to help fill the needs of cancer patients, is open. The nonprofit organization dedicated to helping cancer patients in Central Georgia has relocated next door to Georgia Cancer Specialists at Oconee Regional Medical Center. 7-9 p.m.: A community bike project will be held at the Milledgeville Fire Department on West Thomas Street. Bikes will be repaired by volunteers and given to those in greatest need in the community. The event is co-sponsored by Milledgeville Cares Inc. and the Milledgeville Fire Department. Donations of all usable bikes and bike parts will be accepted at the station on Thomas Street any time. High school age and adult volunteers are needed to repair bikes. Adam Heagy of Oconee Outfitters will teach the class. Tools will be provided or available at cost for individual's kits (optional).
