10 a.m.-noon: Digital Bridges Open Computer Clinic is open in the Knight Community Innovation Center, 127 W. Hancock St. Work station availability is limited. The clinic is designed to teach basic skills to adult beginning computer users. Participants may come with specific questions or for general knowledge. 4-8 p.m.: The Fall Line Farmers Market features local farmers, local vendors and live music on the front lawn of First Presbyterian Church at 210 S. Wayne St. There will be free flags for the kids and free samples of Iced Mocha Coffee from Pot O' Gold Coffee for the parents. Don't miss real home-made peach ice cream and smoothies from Georgia Peach Co. or Georgia Bob's famous barbecue and chicken salad to enjoy "on the go" or while you linger and listen to "Moe Jonez", an acoustic blues and rock band with Milledgeville's John Askew, Nathan Pearson, Glenn Rivers, Gary Swinger, Marshall Henderson and Will Parker. Also check out the many unique downtown businesses as well as Milledgeville Mainstreet's fun First Friday activities showcasing our local heroes. Fire fighters, police officers and EMTs will be on hand in the parking lot next to the Post Office. So grab a flag, some great food and have some fun on this First Friday in downtown Milledgeville.
