MILLEDGEVILLE — Saturday, Sept. 7

7 a.m.: The Men's Club of Milledgeville of First United Methodist Church will hold its annual Public Safety Breakfast at the Baldwin County Fire Department, Allen Memorial Drive. All fire, EMS, sheriff, police and other public safety officers are invited to stop by and join them for breakfast.

9 a.m.-7 p.m.: Campus Club Milledgeville will host its first annual ArtHealthy Festival on GC’s Front Lawn (Centennial Center in case of rain). The festival is recommended for all ages and admission is free. For more information visit www.arthealthy.com.

9 a.m.: Belk will hold an informational meeting. The session is to recruit local non-profit groups to participate in the semi-annual Charity Sale Fundraiser. Breakfast will be served in the Milledgeville Mall conference room. For more information contact Belk at 478-452-5572 ext. 210.

9 a.m.: A yoga class taught by Xan Nichols is held at the Oconee River Greenway. Bring a yoga mat and/or towel as well as bug spray. All ages welcome. $3/1 hour session.

9 a.m.-noon: The Greenway Farmers Market is held at the Oconee River Greenway, Highway 22 East.

10 a.m.-3 p.m.: The Gordon Woman's Club Fleamarket will be held at 110 College St., Gordon. The cafe will be open and serving barbecue as well as desserts. There will be furniture, gadgets, clothes, etc. Vendor spaces are available for $5, call 478-233-3003.

1-1:45 p.m.: Auditions for boys in the party scene of the 18th annual GC Nutcracker will be held in the Miller dance studio located at the corner of Montgomery and Wayne streets. Boys grades three through eight should wear a t-shirt, shorts and athletic shoes. No previous dance experience is required.

3 p.m.: The Readers Book Club meets at the Milledgeville Mall food court to discuss its current selection. Be prepared to suggest or vote on a book for the group to read. The club is free and open to the community. For more information contact Jeff Taylor at 478-454-4206.
