MILLEDGEVILLE — On Sept. 11 from 4:30-8:30 p.m. a Kids Community Party will be held at 341 Horne Ave. For more information call 478-363-3225.

Mark the Magic Man will host two shows on Sept. 14 at the W.E. Knox Civic Center, Gray, at 3 and 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children and VIP tickets are available. Proceeds will benefit the Help Camden Foundation.

Rep. Paul Broun will host a Military Academy Day on Sept. 21 from 10 a.m.-noon in the Old Georgia Capitol Building of Georgia Military College. The event is free and open to students grades eight through twelve. The BHS School Council will meet at 5:30 p.m. at BHS on Sept. 23. The PTO will hold its first meeting at 6 in the Little Theatre. Membership dues are $5. Exemplary student work will be on display and students will be recognized for honors received thus far this school year.

Wednesday, Sept. 11

7:30 a.m.: The Chamber of Commerce will host Eggs & Issues to discuss the State Property Initiative at Crockett’s Cafeteria. Tickets are $12 for the general public and $10 for Chamber members.

7:30 a.m.: Lake Oconee Promise Keepers meets at The River of Life center on Scott Road. Jack Minchey 706-473-0431.

10:30 a.m.-noon: Free computer classes for seniors will be held at the Senior Citizens Center in Baldwin County.

Noon: Milledgeville Exchange Club meets at the Milledgeville Country Club.

1 p.m.: Falun Gong exercise class will be held at Central City Park (formerly Bonner Park) free of charge. Cultivate mind and body with five sets of easy-to-learn exercises good for all ages and all physical conditions. For more information call 478-453-4241.

1-3 p.m.: Digital Bridges Open Computer Clinic is open in the Knight Community Innovation Center, 127 W. Hancock St. Work station availability is limited. The clinic is designed to teach basic skills to adult beginning computer users. Participants may come with specific questions or for general knowledge. 6 p.m.: Goldwing Road Riders Association Georgia Chapter 1 meets at the Golden Corral on North Columbia Street. Dinner is followed by the meeting at 7 p.m. All bikers and biker enthusiasts may attend.

6 p.m.: Morris-Little American Legion Post 6 will have an organization meeting and sign-up for the American Legion Riders of The Department of Georgia at 231 Log Cabin Road. The Riders are a group of veterans and other patriots who see ways to serve veterans, active duty military and their families.
