MILLEDGEVILLE — Thursday, April 11

10 a.m.: “Music Inspired by Dr. Seuss” is a musical concert featuring original songs written by the performers with disAbilities from the Life Enrichment Center and the music therapy students at GC. The event will be held at the Goldstein Center on the Georgia Military College campus.

10 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Harriet's Closet, a free supply closet to help fill the needs of cancer patients, is open. The nonprofit organization dedicated to helping cancer patients in Central Georgia has relocated next door to Georgia Cancer Specialists building at Oconee Regional Medical Center. 11:45 a.m.: The Civitan Club of Baldwin County meets 2nd and 4th Thursdays at the Golden Corral. Civitan's main thrust worldwide is helping the physically and/or mentally challenged. Noon: The Rotary meets at the Country Club.

Noon: The Eatonton Kiwanis Club meets at Central Georgia Tech on the James Marshall bypass.

12:30 p.m.: The Eatonton Duplicate Bridge Club, an official member of the American Contract Bridge League, meets at the Plaza Arts Center, 305 N. Madison Ave. in Eatonton. For more information contact Betty Roper at (706) 467-3079.

2 to 5 p.m.: Free HIV testing at 900 Barrows Ferry Road. (478) 445-5518.

3 to 5 p.m.: Digital Bridges Open Computer Clinic is open in the Knight Community Innovation Center, 127 W. Hancock St. Work station availability is limited. The clinic is designed to teach basic skills to adult beginning computer users. Participants may come with specific questions or for general knowledge. For more information, call (478) 387-0254 or e-mail colin@thedigitalbridges.org to reserve your slot or to volunteer.

5 p.m.: The Historic Preservation Commission meets at City Hall.

5:30 p.m.: The Baldwin Christian Learning Center holds its monthly meeting at Hope Lutheran Church.

5:30 p.m.: American Legion Morris-Little Post 6 meets at 231 Log Cabin Rd. at 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. for a meal followed by a Guest Speaker and Business meeting. All members are encouraged to attend. For more information call John W. Griffin, Post 6 Commander at (478) 453-0295.

6 p.m.: The Oconee Regional Medical Center Inc. and the Oconee Regional Health Systems Inc. Boards of Directors meet in the ORMC Administrative Suite Board Room. This meeting will be the Quality Board meeting.

7 p.m.: The Veterans of Foreign Wars and Ladies Auxiliary of Post 6686 in Eatonton meets at the Post home, 793 Monticello Road. Dinner is provided and is followed by the meeting.

7 p.m.: The Sons of Confederate Veterans Old Capital Camp 688 meet at the Milledgeville County Club. A buffet dinner is served with a program to follow. (478) 452-6633. You may attend as a guest.
