MILLEDGEVILLE — The UGA Extension office is offering assistance to local residents seeking to enroll in health coverage throught he Health Insurance Marketplace. The deadline to apply for coverage is March 31. To get assistance or make an appointment to enroll in coverage, contact Tammy Allen, UGA Navigator for Johnson, Laurens, Twiggs, Wilkinson, Bibb, Jones, Peach, Houston, Baldwin, Putnam and Jasper, at 706-424-1395 or at tallen5@uga.edu. The Lions Club will hold a fundraising Spaghetti Dinner at Crockett’s Cafeteria Feb. 27 from 5 to 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased from Lions Club members or at Crockett’s.

AARP Foundation TaxAide volunteers will be in the area from Feb. 2 through April 15. To apply visit www.aarp.org/taxaide.

A free notary public training will take place March 6 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Baldwin County court house. To reserve your spot call 478-445-6324.

All high school students in Georgia’s 10th Congressional District are invited to participate in the 2014 Congressional Art Competition. The winning artist will be recognized nationally and be eligible for a collegiate art scholarship. For competition guidelines visit www.broun.house.gov/kids/art.htm. Deadline is April 1. 3 p.m.: The Readers Book Club meets at the Milledgeville Mall food court to discuss its current selection. Be prepared to suggest or vote on a book for the group to read. The club is free and open to the community. For more information contact Jeff Taylor at 478-454-4206.

7:30-10 p.m.: Ballroom Dancing held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flannery O'Connor Hall at 110 N. Jefferson St. Admission is $5. Dancers of all levels gather monthly at this alcohol and smoke-free event. For more information contact Carol Brock at 478-453-3345.

8 p.m.:  Georgia College Theatre Department presents “Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka,” a story for families and audiences of all ages at Russell Auditorium. Tickets — General admission: $16; senior citizens, Georgia College faculty and staff: $12; Georgia College students: $7. Groups of 10 or more can get a discounted rate of $11 per ticket.
