MILLEDGEVILLE — Shiloh Baptist Church, 204 Harrisburg Road, will hold a health fair Feb. 22 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The public is invited. There will be blood pressure, blood sugar, hearing and visual screenings. Other free assessments will be available. There will also be domestic violence education and healthy lifestyle information.

The Lions Club will hold a fundraising Spaghetti Dinner at Crockett’s Cafeteria Feb. 27 from 5 to 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased from Lions Club members or at Crockett’s.

AARP Foundation TaxAide volunteers will be in the area from Feb. 2 through April 15. To apply visit www.aarp.org/taxaide.

A free notary public training will take place March 6 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Baldwin County court house. To reserve your spot call 478-445-6324.

All high school students in Georgia’s 10th Congressional District are invited to participate in the 2014 Congressional Art Competition. The winning artist will be recognized nationally and be eligible for a collegiate art scholarship. For competition guidelines visit www.broun.house.gov/kids/art.htm. Deadline is April 1. Friday, Feb. 21

10 a.m.: Learning in Retirement holds its board meeting at the Milledgeville Country Club, Milledgeville.

11 a.m.: Learning in Retirement Lunch & Learn, Milledgeville Country Club. Guest speaker is Kourtney Shelly, recruiter for CGTC. The program  will include the mission of Central Georgia Technical College and a review of programs as well as some of the changes. Lunch  is buffet style, payable at the door.

6 p.m.: Baldwin High School presents its 2014 Black History Program, “A Celebration of the Young Generation,” at the BHS Fine Arts Auditorium. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door.
