MILLEDGEVILLE — Allied Arts will host fall workshops and classes. On Sept. 19 a class will be offered to tour the permanent collection and is geared toward youth 10 and older. The GUMFest Arts & Crafts Fair will be held Sept. 20-21 at 121 Gordon St., Gray. The Fair will be open Friday 9 a.m.-7 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Rep. Paul Broun will host a Military Academy Day on Sept. 21 from 10 a.m.-noon in the Old Georgia Capitol Building of Georgia Military College. The event is free and open to students grades eight through twelve. The BHS School Council will meet at 5:30 p.m. at BHS on Sept. 23. The PTO will hold its first meeting at 6 in the Little Theatre. Membership dues are $5. Exemplary student work will be on display and students will be recognized for honors received thus far this school year.
