MILLEDGEVILLE — In support of Relay for Life Century Bank is providing Easter candygrams for $2 and $4, the latter includes a bean bag animal. Belk’s will host a Charity Sale on Saturday, April 27 from 6 to 10 a.m. Tickets are $5 and all proceeds from tickets sales go to Relay for Life. For more information or to purchase a candygram or sale ticket contact Tammy Lee at tammylee@centurybankonline.com. Piggly Wiggly is also asking for $1 donations at checkout all through March.

Baldwin County Schools will hold kindergarten registration for children 5 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2013. Registration will be held weekdays March 18-29 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Birth certificate, proof of residence, current immunization form, eye, ear and dental forms and a social security card are required. For school zone questions call (478) 457-2405.

Beginning in April and May IMPACT pre-service training classes to become a foster or adoptive parent will take place. They will be held in Gray and are free. For more information call 1 (877) 210-5437 or (478) 445-7020.

Saturday, March 23

8 a.m. until noon: The Seventh Annual Relay for Life Yard Sale will be held at the First United Methodist Church Lake Pavilion on Bill Johnson Road off of Log Cabin Road. Proceeds will benefit cancer research through the Relay for Life Foundation.

8 a.m.: Yoga at the Greenway has moved indoors to Blackbird Coffee. Bring a yoga mat and/or towel. All ages welcome. $3/1 hour session.

8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.: The fourth annual Job and Career Forum will be held at Georgia College's Arts and Sciences Building and Auditorium this Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free. Business and industry representatives from the Middle Georgia area will be on hand to discuss job/career opportunities, as well as give mock interviews. Personnel from the Georgia Department of Labor, Central Georgia Technical College and the American Professional Institute are attending and will hold workshops. Attendants are encouraged to dress in business attire. Call Quentin T. Howell at (478) 414-1120 with any questions.

11 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Courthouse Crusaders, FUMC, GCANS, HOPE, OES #486 and Westview Baptist Church will be at the Milledgeville Mall selling baked goods and handmade crafts to benefit Relay for Life. FUMC is offering Food Tickets from Georgia Bob’s and they will be purchasable during this time.
