MILLEDGEVILLE — Monday, Aug. 12

Noon-4 p.m.: Harriet's Closet, a free supply closet to help fill the needs of cancer patients, is open. The nonprofit organization dedicated to helping cancer patients in Central Georgia has relocated next door to Georgia Cancer Specialists building at Oconee Regional Medical Center. For information or to volunteer call 478-457-2124.

Noon: Fifties Plus meets at the Milledgeville FUMC on Log Cabin Road and is open to everyone. For more information on meetings and lunch, call the church office at 478-452-4597.

5-7 p.m.: Mary Vinson Memorial Library and Digital Bridges host a Computer Clinic at the Library, 151 S. Jefferson St. The clinic is designed to teach basic skills to adult beginning computer users. Participants may come with specific questions or for general knowledge. For more information call 478-387-0254 or e-mail daniel@thedigitalbridges.org to reserve your slot or volunteer.

7 p.m.: The Baldwin County Democratic Committee will have its quarterly meeting at the Allied Arts building, 201 N. Wayne St. All interested citizens are encouraged to attend. Two of the special guests for the meeting will be Commissioner Sammy Hall, Chairman of the Baldwin County Commissioners, and State President of the AFL-CIO Union Richard Ray. 7 p.m.: BINGO is held at the American Legion on Log Cabin Road. No one under the age of 18 is permitted. Refreshments are sold by the Ladies Auxiliary. 478-452-8538

7:30 p.m.: Milledgeville Jaycees meet at Walter B. Williams Jr. Park.

7:30 p.m.: The Oconee River Buskers Square Dance Club meets at the Walter B. Williams Recreation Center.
