Milledgeville Area Community Theatre for Youth (ACT) will begin its winter sessions on Tuesday, Jan. 7 and meet each Tuesday from 3 to 4 p.m. for ages 6-11 and Session II for ages 11 and up from 4 to 5:30 pm in the Allen’s Market Building, 101 West McIntosh St., Milledgeville. Space is limited to twenty-five students. Registration is $10 for the eight-week session and is open to all youth ages 6 - 11 and session II for children 11 years and up who are interested in any aspect of theater. Registrations will be accepted through Monday. Classes begin Tuesday, Jan. 7 in the Allen’s Market Building. Milledgeville Main Street introduces Downtown Dollars, gift certificates to support local businesses. They can be purchased in denominations of $5 and can be used at more than 30 locations downtown.
