City Hall will be closed today and will reopen at noon Thursday.

The county courthouse will be closed today.

The GC forum scheduled today featuring Kenneth Dious, democratic candidate for the 10th congressional district, has been canceled due to weather.

The Baldwin County Health Department is re-open for operations.

AARP Foundation TaxAide volunteers will be in the area from Feb. 2 through April 15. To apply visit www.aarp.org/taxaide.

The Oconee Master Gardeners Association and the Putnam County Cooperative Extension invites all interested parties to attend a Feb. 12 class on Gardening with Limitations. This is the second part of a four part series. The class will be 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Hut, 400A West Marion St., Eatonton. Contact 706-485-4151 to pre-register for the free class. The Baldwin County Republican Party will hold a mass meeting Feb. 13 at 6 p.m. at The Cottages at Woodland Terrace, 1010 Fernwood Drive Unit No. 402 for the purposes of electing officers for the vacant positions of chair, second vice chair and treasurer. All high school students in Georgia’s 10th Congressional District are invited to participate in the 2014 Congressional Art Competition.
