MILLEDGEVILLE — Golden Corral, 1913 N. Columbia St., will hold a pre-Super Bowl tailgate party with NFL stars Feb. 1 from 5 to 8 p.m. Present will be NFL stars James Butler, Leroy Hill and Tye Hill. Two raffles will be held, one for 30 days of free meals and another for a personalized football.

The Oconee Master Gardeners Association and the Putnam County Cooperative Extension invites all interested parties to attend a Feb. 12 class on Gardening with Limitations. Milledgeville Main Street introduces Downtown Dollars, gift certificates to support local businesses. They can be purchased in denominations of $5 and can be used at more than 30 locations downtown. Creekside Elementary is having a winter coat drive and is collecting new and gently used coats for children’s size six and adult small. Please drop off coats at the Communities in Schools office at Creekside or call the coordinator, Mrs. Specht, at 478-456-3127.
