The Milledgeville Chapter of the UGA Alumni Association invites all UGA alumni and fans to a Freshman Send-Off on Sunday, July 27, from 5-7:30 p.m. at the home of Jimmy (BBA ’64) and Elizabeth (EDS ’76, EDD ’86) Youngblood, 255 Corral Road in Milledgeville. Visit alumni.uga.edu/FSO to RSVP. nStudents will have the chance to meet fellow UGA classmates from the Milledgeville area and get to know local alumni and fans. Parents will learn how to stay connected to the Bulldog Nation while their child is at UGA.
The Baldwin County Nutrition Department will provide free meals to children during the summer June 2-July 25. Summer meals will be served at two locations: GNETS, 1300 B. Orchard Hill Road, and BHS, 155 Highway 49 West. Breakfast will be from 7-8 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Lunch will be delivered to the following sites: Graham Homes, 11 a.m.; Pine Knoll Apartments, 11:25 a.m.; Duplex City, 11:45 a.m.; River Bend Apartments, 12:10 p.m.; The Manor, 12:40 p.m.; Finnagan’s Mobile Home Park, 1:05 p.m.; 5th Street Mobile Home Park, 1:30 p.m.; Lockwood Mobile Home Park, 1:50 p.m.

The nonprofit organization dedicated to helping cancer patients in Central Georgia has relocated next door to Georgia Cancer Specialists at Oconee Regional Medical Center.
