Helms Career Institute in Milledgeville (located behind the mall) will hold a Career and Health Fair June 5 from 1 to 4 p.m. The public is invited.
The Baldwin County Nutrition Department will provide free meals to children during the summer June 2-July 25 (no meals will be served July 4). Summer meals will be served at two locations: GNETS, 1300 B. Orchard Hill Road, and BHS, 155 Highway 49 West. Breakfast will be from 7-8 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Lunch will be delivered to the following sites: Graham Homes, 11 a.m.; Pine Knoll Apartments, 11:25 a.m.; Duplex City, 11:45 a.m.; River Bend Apartments, 12:10 p.m.; The Manor, 12:40 p.m.; Finnagan’s Mobile Home Park, 1:05 p.m.; 5th Street Mobile Home Park, 1:30 p.m.; Lockwood Mobile Home Park, 1:50 p.m.

10 a.m.-2 p.m.: Harriet's Closet, a free supply closet to help fill the needs of cancer patients, is open. The nonprofit organization dedicated to helping cancer patients in Central Georgia has relocated next door to Georgia Cancer Specialists at Oconee Regional Medical Center. 4:30 p.m.: The Baldwin County Chapter of the Fort Valley State Alumni Association meets at the public service building at the Milledgeville Police Department.
6:30 p.m.: The Milledgeville Area Patriots will host several candidates, including: Jody Hice, Mike Collins and three representatives for David Perdue. Each candidate will be presented with five prepared questions with five minutes to answer. The meeting will be at Victory Baptist Church, 630 Meriwether Road. The meeting is open to the public.
7:30 p.m.: Lake Country Twirlers is a square dance club that meets at the Harmony Association Building on Highway 44.
