The Baldwin County Fire Rescue is collecting toys for its third annual Kids-Yule-Love Toy Drive. The follow stations are drop points: Allen Memorial Drive, Central State Hospital campus, Carr Station Road, Highway 22 and Lovers Lane and Log Cabin Road. The Lemon Tree downtown, as well as all Echange Bank branches and Dr. William Lee’s office, 2715 N. Columbia, are also drop points. Toy collection will run until Dec. 18.
Flu vaccines are now available at the Baldwin County Health Department. They will offer both the traditional flu shot and Flu Mist, which is a nasal spray. Vaccines will cost $25 but are available at no charge to those on Medicaid, Peachcare, Wellcare, Amerigroup, Medicare Part B, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia or a State Benefit Plan through United Healthcare or Cigna. Flu vaccines will also be offered in the schools this year. Parents will receive permission slips from their child’s school in the coming weeks.

10 a.m.: Oconee Valley Family YMCA meets at People's Bank at Harmony Road and Highway 44.
Noon to 4 p.m.: Harriet's Closet, a free supply closet to help fill the needs of cancer patients, is open. The nonprofit organization dedicated to helping cancer patients in Central Georgia has relocated next door to Georgia Cancer Specialists building at Oconee Regional Medical Center. 1 to 3 p.m.: Mary Vinson Memorial Library and Digital Bridges host a Computer Clinic at the Library by appointment only. The clinic is designed to teach basic skills to adult beginning computer users. Participants may come with specific questions or for general knowledge. 3 p.m.: “The Mourning After” a bereavement group sponsored by Hospice Care Options is held at the First Baptist Church on South Liberty Street in Milledgeville. The event is free and open to the public. (478) 453-8572.
