MILLEDGEVILLE — The Old Governor’s Mansion presents its Christmas at the Mansion tours Dec. 3-23. Candlelight tours will feature: Music by Sweet Georgia Sound (Dec. 7), the Milledgeville Singers Guild (Dec. 14), the First Baptist Church Handbell Choir (Dec. 19). On Dec. 11 from 1 to 3:15 p.m. the Max Noah singers will perform in the rotunda.

Animal Rescue Foundation will he holding a low cost spay and neuter clinic Dec. 30 in the Petsense parking lot, 2470 N. Columbia St. Contact 478-550-5050 to schedule your appointment.

Milledgeville Main Street introduces Downtown Dollars, gift certificates to support local businesses. They can be purchased in denominations of $5 and can be used at more than 30 locations downtown. The 2012 Georgia River of Words exhibition is open and available for viewing from now until early December at the Mary Vinson Memorial Library, 151 S. Jefferson St. River of Words is an international environmental poetry and arts project that is coordinated by Georgia Project WET and the Georgia Center for the Book. Creekside Elementary is having a Winter Coat Drive and is collecting new and gently used coats for children’s size six and adult small. Please drop off coats at the Communities in Schools office at Creekside or call the coordinator, Mrs. Specht at 478-456-3127.

Salvation Army needs volunteers for bell ringers this holiday season. For more information contact Millie Day at 478-452-7511.

Saturday, Dec. 7

8 a.m. - 11 a.m.: Breakfast with Santa and the Secret Santa Shop is held at the Center for Health Sciences Building at Central Georgia Technical College. Tickets are $10 and include the activity stations and waffle bar. Call 478-454-3859 for tickets. Pictures with Santa $5.

10 a.m.-noon: A class on Deco Mesh Wreaths will be taught at Hobby Lobby.

10 a.m.-5 p.m.: Milledgeville Main Street presents its Holiday Pop-Up Bazaar featuring a public market, arts and crafts in downtown Milledgeville. Call 478-414-4014 for more information.

7 p.m.: Mark the Magic Man will present Deja Vu: Is this Dream or Reality at The Plaza Arts Center in Eatonton. The show will benefit the Help Camden Find a Cure Foundation. Tickets can be purchased at The Plaza Box Office, Elite Gymnastics in Greensboro and Amici of Lake Oconee.
