Mary Vinson Memorial Library will host an artist lecturer June 16 starting at 5:30 p.m. in Anne Moore’s Children’s Theater. The lecturer will be Dorothy Brown and the topic will be Windows to Heaven: How to Write Icons. The lecture will explain the history and practice of religious icon writing.

The Baldwin County Nutrition Department will provide free meals to children during the summer June 2-July 25 (no meals will be served July 4). Summer meals will be served at two locations: GNETS, 1300 B. Orchard Hill Road, and BHS, 155 Highway 49 West.
