Mary Vinson Memorial Library will host an artist lecturer June 16 starting at 5:30 p.m. in Anne Moore’s Children’s Theater. The lecturer will be Dorothy Brown and the topic will be Windows to Heaven: How to Write Icons. The lecture will explain the history and practice of religious icon writing.

Allied Arts will sponsor a watercolor workshop for adults taught by Dana Wiggins June 28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Allen’s Market Building, 101 W. McIntosh St. The registration fee is $65. The Baldwin County Nutrition Department will provide free meals to children during the summer June 2-July 25 (no meals will be served July 4). Summer meals will be served at two locations: GNETS, 1300 B. Orchard Hill Road, and BHS, 155 Highway 49 West. Breakfast will be from 7-8 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Lunch will be delivered to the following sites: Graham Homes, 11 a.m.; Pine Knoll Apartments, 11:25 a.m.; Duplex City, 11:45 a.m.; River Bend Apartments, 12:10 p.m.; The Manor, 12:40 p.m.; Finnagan’s Mobile Home Park, 1:05 p.m.; 5th Street Mobile Home Park, 1:30 p.m.; Lockwood Mobile Home Park, 1:50 p.m.

8 a.m.: The 100 Black Men of Milledgeville and Baldwin County meet at the Baldwin County Recreation Center on Highway 22. Mentees meet at 10 a.m.
9 a.m. to noon: The Green Farmer's Market (formerly known as the Greenway Farmer's Market) is open at the new Market Park Pavilion downtown. There will be live music, fresh produce and other vendors.
9 a.m.-2 p.m.: The Oconee Regional Chapter of Project Linus meets at Hope Lutheran Church, Highway 49. The Chapter is open to anyone who wants to provide needy children with a comforting blanket. Attendees should bring a drink.
3 p.m.: Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. the Epsilon Omega Omega Chapter is sponsoring TEA: Time Elegant Affair at the Goodwill Anderson Conference Center in Macon. A donation of $25 is requested.
