MILLEDGEVILLE — Saturday, May 25

7 a.m.: Registration opens for the Eagle Rock 5K Run; the race beings at 8. Proceeds will benefit the athletes of Putnam County High School. The event will be held at the Rock Eagle 4-H Center in Eatonton. Advance registration is $15; $20 on the day of the race. Medals will be awarded for each age group. 9 a.m.: A yoga class taught by Xan Nichols is held at the Oconee River Greenway Bring a yoga mat and/or towel as well as bug spray. All ages welcome. $3/1 hour session.

9 a.m. to noon: The Greenway Farmers Market is held at the Oconee River Greenway, Highway 22 West.

All non-emergency departments in both the city and county will be closed in observance of Memorial Day.

Noon to 4 p.m.: Harriet's Closet, a free supply closet to help fill the needs of cancer patients, is open. The nonprofit organization dedicated to helping cancer patients in Central Georgia has relocated next door to Georgia Cancer Specialists building at Oconee Regional Medical Center. For information or to volunteer call 478-457-2124.
