Sunday, Dec. 15

2-4 p.m.: The Brown-Stetson-Sanford House, 601 W. Hancock St., invites the public for “It’s a Gingerbread Christmas”. Enjoy cider and gingerbread while touring the home and have a picture made with Santa. There is no charge, but donations are appreciated. 

2-5 p.m.: Milledgeville Singers Guild presents “Homes for the Holiday” tour of homes. For $10, visit three local homes decorated for the holidays. For more information e-mail

2 p.m.: “The Nutcracker.” Directed by Amelia Pelton. 8 p.m. Russell Auditorium. Admission: $12 (general), $8 (GC faculty/staff/non-GC students/senior citizens), $5 children 12 and under. Tickets available online at or at the door.

3 p.m.: The Georgia Military College Steinway Concert Series presents Emile Pandolfi with guest vocalist Dana Russell in the Goldstein Center for the Performing Arts. Ticket prices are $10 general admission and $5 for students with ID. A coffee and dessert reception with the artists will be held immediately following the concert. 2-4 p.m.: Brown-Stetson-Sanford House presents “It’s a Gingerbread Christmas.” Drop by the house on the corner of Hancock and Jackson streets and enjoy cider and gingerbread, have a picture made with Santa and see the museum’s collection of vintage quilts on display.
