MILLEDGEVILLE — From 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Sept. 27 EBLA Academy will have a Fish Fry Fundraiser at 1943 N. Jefferson St. Plates are $7.

A resume critique workshop will be held on Sept. 27 from noon-1 p.m. at Digital Bridges. Dr. Gloria Reece will be on hand to assist. To register, $5, contact Dr. Reece at reece.gloria@gmail.com or stop by Digital Bridges.

On Oct. 3 the Milledgeville Area Patriots will host a City Candidate Forum at Victory Baptist Church at 6:30 p.m. Everyone in the community is invited. For more information call Janice Westmoreland at 478-387-5316.

10 a.m.-2 p.m.: Harriet's Closet, a free supply closet to help fill the needs of cancer patients, is open. The nonprofit organization dedicated to helping cancer patients in Central Georgia has relocated next door to Georgia Cancer Specialists at Oconee Regional Medical Center. 11:45 a.m.: The Civitan Club of Baldwin County meets second and fourth Thursdays at the Golden Corral. Civitan's main thrust worldwide is helping the physically and/or mentally challenged. Noon: The Rotary meets at the Country Club.

Noon: The Eatonton Kiwanis Club meets at Central Georgia Tech on the James Marshall bypass.

12:30 p.m.: The Eatonton Duplicate Bridge Club, an official member of the American Contract Bridge League, meets at the Plaza Arts Center, 305 N. Madison Ave. in Eatonton. For more information contact Betty Roper at 706-467-3079.

2-5 p.m.: Free HIV testing at 900 Barrows Ferry Road. 478-445-5518.

3-5 p.m.: Digital Bridges Open Computer Clinic is open in the Knight Community Innovation Center, 127 W. Hancock St. Work station availability is limited. The clinic is designed to teach basic skills to adult beginning computer users. Participants may come with specific questions or for general knowledge. 6-8 p.m.: The Diversity Action Planning Committee at GC will host a public forum at the Collins P. Lee Center. The forum is to open dialogue on how the Milledgeville and Baldwin County communities can work collaboratively to prepare students for the 21st century. Everyone is encouraged to attend.

6:30 p.m.: The Old Capitol Optimist Club meets at the Golden Corral Restaurant on North Columbia Street. Interested citizens are welcome.

7:30 p.m.: Bingo is held at the American Legion Post 523 on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Refreshments will be sold. 478-452-1611.

7:30 p.m.: Lake Country Twirlers is a square dance club that meets at the Harmony Association Building on Highway 44.
