Throughout June the Animal Rescue Foundation Inc. (ARF) will hold a cat adoption special. The adoption fee special is $25 for teenage and adult cats that have been at the shelter since before May 20. ARF is open Monday, Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and Tuesday and Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. ARF is located at 711 S. June 3-July 19 the Baldwin County Nutrition Department will provide free meals to children. (No meals will be served July 4-5.) The meals will be served at Baldwin High School, Monday-Friday. Breakfast is from 7:30-9 a.m. and lunch is from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. A school bus will also deliver and serve lunches throughout the community. Communities In Schools has partnered with Baldwin Family Connection to hold a School Uniform Drive until July 31. New and gently used clothing will help provide uniforms to students in need. Acceptable clothing items are: khaki, black or navy pants and white, navy, red or black shirts with collars. Clothes can be dropped off Monday-Thursday at the Board of Education, Communities In Schools (GC, 101 Chappell Hall), Northridge Christian Church (after July 7) and First United Methodist Church.

10 a.m.-noon: Digital Bridges Open Computer Clinic is open in the Knight Community Innovation Center, 127 W. Hancock St. Work station availability is limited. The clinic is designed to teach basic skills to adult beginning computer users. Participants may come with specific questions or for general knowledge.
