MILLEDGEVILLE — The Baldwin County Fire Rescue is collecting toys for its third annual Kids-Yule-Love Toy Drive. The follow stations are drop points: Allen Memorial Drive, Central State Hospital campus, Carr Station Road, Highway 22 and Lovers Lane and Log Cabin Road. The Lemon Tree downtown, as well as all Echange Bank branches and Dr. William Lee’s office, 2715 N. Columbia, are also drop points. Toy collection will run until Dec. 18.

Flu vaccines are now available at the Baldwin County Health Department. They will offer both the traditional flu shot and Flu Mist, which is a nasal spray. Vaccines will cost $25 but are available at no charge to those on Medicaid, Peachcare, Wellcare, Amerigroup, Medicare Part B, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia or a State Benefit Plan through United Healthcare or Cigna. Flu vaccines will also be offered in the schools this year. Parents will receive permission slips from their child’s school in the coming weeks.

Saturday, Dec. 1

Relay for Life Teams will be at the Milledgeville Mall selling crafts, baked goods and holiday items to raise money for the fight against cancer. For more information about Relay for Life Mall Days, contact (478) 451-7573.

8 to 11 a.m.: Oconee Regional Healthcare Foundation will sponsor a Breakfast with Santa at the Milledgeville Country Club, 3700 Sinclair Dam Road. Tickets are $10 per person and are available by calling (478) 454-3859.

9 a.m.: Yoga at the Greenway every Saturday morning. Bring a yoga mat and/or towel. All ages welcome. A $1 to $5 donation is appreciated. For more information, call (478) 973-9767.

10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: The Old Governor’s Mansion presents holiday décor tours that will continue through Dec. 23. Tours begin on the hour.

10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Gordon Woman's Club will host a Flea Market and Café at 110 College St. in Gordon. There will be decorations, kid toys, Christmas gifts and more. There will be a giveaway for two “beds in a bad.” Corner Café will be open.

3 p.m.: The Readers Book Club meets at Blackbird Coffee downtown to discuss its current selection. Be prepared to suggest or vote on a book for the group to read. The club is free and open to the community.

7:30 to 10:30 p.m.: Ballroom Dancing held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flannery O'Connor Hall at 110 N. Jefferson St. Admission is $5. Dancers of all levels gather monthly at this alcohol and smoke-free event. For more information contact Carol Melder at (478) 453-3345.
