MILLEDGEVILLE — A community trip to Casino Drive in Cherokee, N.C. will take place on Saturday, July 20. Transportation will be provided and the group will leave at 8 a.m. from the Piggly Wiggly on the Southside. June 3-July 19 the Baldwin County Nutrition Department will provide free meals to children. (No meals will be served July 4-5.) The meals will be served at Baldwin High School, Monday-Friday. Breakfast is from 7:30-9 a.m. and lunch is from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. A school bus will also deliver and serve lunches throughout the community. Allied Arts is hosting Summer Art Camps for Youth that will take place through June and July. For more information call 478-452-3950 or visit milledgevillealliedarts.com.

July 1-Aug. 31 PapaJohn’s Pizza will donate $1 to Georgia Cancer Support Group every time someone makes an online order with the promotional code: GCS10. Maddox Investing in America Inc. will provide free sack lunches to children in low-income areas on Saturdays and Sundays during the summer. Volunteers are needed to help package and deliver the lunches. To volunteer call Timothy and Tarneshia Maddox at 478-696-0112 or 478-234-9283.

Communities In Schools has partnered with Baldwin Family Connection to hold a School Uniform Drive until July 31. New and gently used clothing will help provide uniforms to students in need. Acceptable clothing items are: khaki, black or navy pants and white, navy, red or black shirts with collars. Clothes can be dropped off Monday-Thursday at the Board of Education, Communities In Schools (GC, 101 Chappell Hall), Northridge Christian Church (after July 7) and First United Methodist Church.
