MILLEDGEVILLE — A motorcycle ride for The Donald E. Roach Sr. ALS Fund will take place on Aug. 10 at 8:30 a.m., beginning at the Milledgeville Mall. The event is to help raise money to assist Roach with getting a wheelchair accessible van. There is also a savings fund at MidSouth Credit Union under the name: Donald E. Roach Sr. ALS Fund. The Milledgeville Area Community Theatre for Youth will begin fall session on Aug. 13 and meet each Tuesday. Session I will be from 3-4 p.m. for ages 6-11 and Session II will be from 4:15-5:30 p.m. for ages 11 and up. Registration will be accepted through Aug. 12. 10 a.m.-2 p.m.: Harriet's Closet, a free supply closet to help fill the needs of cancer patients, is open. The nonprofit organization dedicated to helping cancer patients in Central Georgia has relocated next door to Georgia Cancer Specialists at Oconee Regional Medical Center. 11:45 a.m.: The Civitan Club of Baldwin County meets second and fourth Thursdays at the Golden Corral. Civitan's main thrust worldwide is helping the physically and/or mentally challenged. Noon: The Rotary meets at the Country Club.

Noon: The Eatonton Kiwanis Club meets at Central Georgia Tech on the James Marshall bypass.

3-5 p.m.: Digital Bridges Open Computer Clinic is open in the Knight Community Innovation Center, 127 W. Hancock St. Work station availability is limited. The clinic is designed to teach basic skills to adult beginning computer users. Participants may come with specific questions or for general knowledge. 5 p.m.: The Historic Preservation Commission meets at City Hall.

5:30 p.m.: The Baldwin Christian Learning Center holds its monthly meeting at Hope Lutheran Church.
