MILLEDGEVILLE — Saturday, Sept. 14

7:30 a.m.-noon: The Civitan Club is holding a Trash to Treasures Yard Sale at 1847 Holly Hill Road, Carrington Woods. More than 10 families are participating, lots of good items will be available. Proceeds will benefit persons with developmental disabilities.

8 a.m.: The 100 Black Men of Milledgeville and Baldwin County meet at the Baldwin County Recreation Center on Highway 22. Mentees meet at 10 a.m.

9 a.m.: A yoga class taught by Xan Nichols is held at the Oconee River Greenway. Bring a yoga mat and/or towel as well as bug spray. All ages welcome. $3/1 hour session.

9 a.m.-noon: The Greenway Farmers Market is held at the Oconee River Greenway, Highway 22 East.

9 a.m.-2 p.m.: The Oconee Regional Chapter of Project Linus meets at Hope Lutheran Church, Highway 49. The Chapter is open to anyone who wants to provide needy children with a comforting blanket. Attendees should bring a drink.

9:30 and 11 a.m.: Prayer Book Ministry, 101 Woods Drive, Gordon, will have a Fire Safety Workshop at 9:30 followed by a First Aid and CPR Certification Workshop at 11.

9:30 a.m.-2 p.m.: The Fall Farm and Garden Cleanup at Jarrell Plantation will take place. Admission is free to volunteer participants and their families. Bring work gloves. The plantation is located six miles southeast of Juliette in Jones County.

Sunday, Sept. 15

2 p.m.: ABATE of Georgia District 7 for all motorcyclists meets at AP's Hidden Hideaway on Broadway in Macon. 478-451-9870.

Monday, Sept. 16

Noon-4 p.m.: Harriet's Closet, a free supply closet to help fill the needs of cancer patients, is open. The nonprofit organization dedicated to helping cancer patients in Central Georgia has relocated next door to Georgia Cancer Specialists building at Oconee Regional Medical Center. For information or to volunteer call 478-457-2124.

Noon: Fifties Plus meets at the Milledgeville FUMC on Log Cabin Road and is open to everyone. For more information on meetings and lunch, call the church office at 478-452-4597.

3 p.m.: BCREA will meet in the Fellowship Hall of First Presbyterian Church on Wayne Street. All retired educators and supports are invited. Please bring one canned food item for the food bank. The following donations for the Baldwin County School System are also welcome: school supplies; mesh book bags; polo shirts in navy, black and white; slacks and skirts in khaki, navy and black; and preschool clothing. Newly retired educators will be recognized and the guest speaker will be 4-H Extension Agent Robbie Jones.

4 p.m.: The Baldwin County Board of Registrars holds its monthly meeting in Room 104 of the Baldwin County Courthouse.

5 p.m.: The Sinclair Water Authority meets at 126 Cay Drive, Milledgeville.

5-7 p.m.: Mary Vinson Memorial Library and Digital Bridges host a Computer Clinic at the Library, 151 S. Jefferson St. The clinic is designed to teach basic skills to adult beginning computer users. Participants may come with specific questions or for general knowledge. For more information call 478-387-0254 or e-mail daniel@thedigitalbridges.org to reserve your slot or volunteer.

7 p.m.: The Milledgeville Singers Guild will meet at the First United Methodist Church, 366 Log Cabin Road. For more information, or to join, contact Jay Hodges at jayhodges610@yahoo.com.

7 p.m.: BINGO is held at the American Legion on Log Cabin Road. No one under the age of 18 is permitted. Refreshments are sold by the Ladies Auxiliary. 478-452-8538

7:30 p.m.: Milledgeville Jaycees meet at Walter B. Williams Jr. Park.

7:30 p.m.: The Oconee River Buskers Square Dance Club meets at the Walter B. Williams Recreation Center.
