June 3 through July 19 the Baldwin County Nutrition Department provides free meals to children. (No meals will be served July 4-5.) The meals will be served at Baldwin High School, Monday through Friday. Breakfast is from 7:30 to 9 a.m. and lunch is from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A school bus will deliver and serve lunch to the following sites: Graham Homes, 11 a.m.; Duplex City, 11:25 a.m.; GNETS, 11:45 a.m.; River Bend Apartments, 12:10 p.m.; The Manor, 12:40 p.m.; Finnagan’s Mobile Home Park, 1:05 p.m.; 5th Street Mobile Home Park, 1:30 p.m.; and Lockwood Mobile Home Park, 1:50 p.m. Any child up to age 18 may eat free. The Haddock Community Enrichment Center is a new non-profit organization to be located at 187 Peach St., Haddock, formerly Idella Duncan Elementary School. June 15 and 22 the Kappa League will hold a Karwash/Yard Sale at Century Bank on North Columbia Street. All proceeds from the event will be sent to Moore, Okla. in support of tornado victims.

Throughout June the Animal Rescue Foundation Inc. (ARF) will hold a cat adoption special. The adoption fee special is $25 for teenage and adult cats that have been at the shelter since before May 20. 8 a.m.: The 100 Black Men of Milledgeville and Baldwin County meet at the Baldwin County Recreation Center on Highway 22. Mentees meet at 10 a.m.
9 a.m. to 2 p.m.: The Oconee Regional Chapter of Project Linus meets at Hope Lutheran Church, Highway 49. The Chapter is open to anyone who wants to provide needy children with a comforting blanket. Attendees should bring a drink.
