The Union-Recorder

The Exchange Club of Milledgeville Christmas Parade will be held in downtown Milledgeville at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6. Applications are available by calling Roc Patel at (478) 452-2335, or by contacting any Exchange Club member.

Thursday, Nov. 19

All Department of Driver Services customer service centers and administrative offices throughout the state will be closed due to mandatory furlough days. Customers that many transactions including initiating a change of address or replacing a lost license can be done online at www.dds.ga.gov.

The Baldwin High School School Council meets in Room 409 at Baldwin High School. Please call the school for exact time.

7 a.m.: The Old Capital Kiwanis Club meets in Room 2-52 of Herty Hall on the GCSU campus.

8:30 a.m.: The Milledgeville-Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce Full Board meets in the Chamber Boardroom at 130 S. Jefferson St.

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Allied Arts will be accepting entries for the third annual Big Click Photography Contest and Exhibition at the Marlor Arts Center, 201 N. Wayne St. The exhibition is open to adult photographers in Central Georgia who may enter a maximum of two photographs each. All photographs entered will be exhibited and cash awards will be given to the First, Second, and Third Place entries. Call Allied Arts at (478) 452-3950 or visit www.milledgevillealliedarts.com to obtain the official rules, an entry form or for additional information.

Noon: The Rotary meets at the Country Club.

Noon: The Eatonton Kiwanis Club meets at Central Georgia Tech on the James Marshall bypass.

1 p.m.: The Eatonton Duplicate Bridge Club, an official member of the American Contract Bridge League, meets at the Eatonton Performing Arts Center at Madison Avenue in Eatonton. Come with a partner or e-mail Pat Turney at turney@plantationcable.net for a possible partner match.

5:30 p.m.: The Bicycling Club of Milledgeville meets at Bartram Forest on Carl Vinson Road for its weekly mountain bike ride for all levels. Ride at your own pace.
