Mr. and Mrs. Rogers Brown, of Sparta, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly Brown, to Tamayo Coats, son of Janice Coats of Milledgeville and Peter Bivins of Gordon.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Susie Holsey, of Sparta. She is employed by Central State Hospital as a health service technician.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Joan Bonner of Milledgeville. He is employed by Bill E. Ireland Youth Development Center as a juvenile correctional officer.

The wedding is planned for 4 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2007, at Chapel of All Faiths.
