— Mr. and Mrs. David Bradford of Milledgeville announce the engagement of their son, William David, to Meredith Nixon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Darryl Nixon of Salisbury, Md.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Virginia Lovell of Salisbury, Md., and Clarice Howard of Kingston, N.C. She is a 2003 graduate of University of North Carolina at Wilmington where she received a Bachelor of Arts in communication studies and a 2006 graduate of Johnson and Wales University where she received an Associate of Science in baking and pastry arts. She is employed as a cake decorator for Harris Teeter.
The groom-elect is the grandson of John Foxworth of Rochelle, Louise Bradford of Milledgeville, the late Jewell Foxworth, and the late E. M. Bradford. He is a 2000 graduate of Baldwin High School and is currently enrolled at Campbell College pursuing a major in psychology. He is employed with The Navigators as a member of the Entity Staff.
The wedding is planned for Saturday, March 10, 2007, at Wesley Memorial Methodist Church in Wilmington, NC.
