Bradford-Nixon The Union-Recorder Mr. and Mrs. David Bradford of Milledgeville announce the engagement of their son, William David, to Meredith Nixon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Darryl Nixon of Salisbury, Md.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Virginia Lovell of Salisbury, Md., and Clarice Howard of Kingston, N.C. She is a 2003 graduate of University of North Carolina at Wilmington where she received a Bachelor of Arts in communication studies and a 2006 graduate of Johnson and Wales University where she received an Associate of Science in baking and pastry arts. She is employed as a cake decorator for Harris Teeter. The groom-elect is the grandson of John Foxworth of Rochelle, Louise Bradford of Milledgeville, the late Jewell Foxworth, and the late E. M. Bradford. He is a 2000 graduate of Baldwin High School and is currently enrolled at Campbell College pursuing a major in psychology. He is employed with The Navigators as a member of the Entity Staff. The wedding is planned for Saturday, March 10, 2007, at Wesley Memorial Methodist Church in Wilmington, NC.
