MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office. Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office
Deputies were dispatched to a Little Road address June 11 in regards to a burglary in progress call. Upon arrival they met with the owner who said when she arrived home she noticed the front door of the residence was open as she was walking up the front porch steps. Her son told her that he saw someone running behind the house. The woman and her son sat in the car until deputies arrived. No items were reported missing from the home.
On June 6 a man reported the theft of items from his vehicle while it was parked at his Irwinton Road residence. According to the man, after returning home around 2 a.m., he locked the doors of his gray 2002 GMC Yukon and went inside the residence. When returning to the vehicle at about 10 a.m. he noticed that multiple items and personal papers had been scattered around in the front seat. An impact wrench, an air compressor, and an unknown number of cleaning supplies were taken from the vehicle.
