MILLEDGEVILLE — Theft by shoplifting

A Walmart employee reported seeing a man attempt to take merchandise from the store without paying for it March 3. The man was observed in the electronics department removing a cell phone charger from a display. He proceeded to sporting goods where he removed the charger from its packaging and placed it in his coat.

Theft by shoplifting

An employee of a North Columbia Street tractor supply store reported the theft of a package of horse pellets by a female at approximately 4:30 p.m. March 2. The woman came into the store with sweet feed that she had purchased earlier in the day. She demanded that store employees exchange the feed. The woman then loaded the horse pellets without permission and drove off.           

Criminal trespass

 Officers were dispatched to a West Charlton Street address in reference to a man being in the vicinity after being trespassed on an earlier date before March 1. Another citation for criminal trespass was issued against the man.

Theft by shoplifting

A Walmart loss prevention employee reported the theft of two silk floral sheet sets and one satin sheet set by a man around 2:02 p.m. March 3.

The man was seen placing the items in a shopping bag and trying to exit the store without paying for them.
