The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.

Milledgeville Police Department

Criminal Damage to Property

A man at an Irish Lane apartment reported that his vehicle was damaged sometime after 11:19 p.m. Nov. 28. He noticed scratches along the driver's side of the vehicle in the morning after the incident had occurred. 

Theft by Shoplifting

A Walmart loss prevention employee reported that a woman attempted to take Revlon lipstick, a set of bath towels, and a Colgate electric toothbrush out of the store without paying for them around 4:52 p.m. Dec. 1. 

Criminal Trespass

A woman reported being awakened by a noise coming from the bedroom of her Dunlap Road home around 1:25 a.m. Dec. 4. The woman discovered that someone had thrown a yard Christmas ornament at her bedroom window.

Criminal Trespass

The owner of a North Wilkinson Street business reported that a man was in the building harassing patrons and making females uncomfortable with his comments and gestures Nov. 16. The man had already received a notice of prohibited entry on an earlier date and was barred from the establishment. 

Theft by Shoplifting

A Walmart loss prevention employee reported the theft of two flashlights by a man around 3:08 p.m. Nov. 27.
