MILLEDGEVILLE — Theft by Taking

A woman reported that someone took her front fender flares or trim pieces from her vehicle July 3. She also noticed that there were several scratches on the fender where the trim pieces used to be.

Criminal Damage to Property

A man at an Ethridge Road residence reported damage to his vehicle that occurred sometime between 6 p.m. July 3 and noon July 4. When he went outside to his truck, he noticed that the tires were punctured and flat.

Theft by Taking

Deputies were dispatched to an Irwinton Road store July 4 in reference to a stolen bicycle. A man reported that he parked his bicycle outside of the store then went inside to purchase some items. While in the store, he noticed another man jump on the bicycle and leave the location.


While patrolling the area of Ga. Highway 49 West and Horace Veal Road July 5, a deputy observed a vehicle failing to maintain lanes. Upon initiating a traffic stop, he noticed an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the driver’s breath and his eyes appeared to be glassy. The driver tested above the legal limit on a roadside breath test and was charged with one count of driving under the influence.


Deputies were dispatched to a Pine Cone Road apartment at approximately 2:38 p.m. July 6 in reference to a burglary. A woman stated that someone gained entry into her apartment and stole her MacBook, power cord, and an iPad.
