MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.

Milledgeville Police Department

Criminal Trespass

A woman reported Oct. 23 that a man trespassed in a store on Elbert Street after having a trespass order taken out in his name. Officers discovered that the trespass order had expired, but the woman asked that a new trespass order be given.

Financial Transaction Card Fraud

A man reported Oct. 23 that after riding around with friends his debit card went missing. He later found fraudulent charges on his card.

Theft by Taking

A resident of North Wayne Street reported Oct. 23 that a turtle flower and a peace lily were stolen from outside her apartment.

Terroristic Threats

A man was arrested Oct. 23 after it was reported he had repeatedly threatened to kill someone.

Theft by Shoplifting

An employee of the southside Piggly Wiggly reported that an individual stole a large quantity of meat from the store Oct. 23. When approached he fled to a vehicle parked outside.

Disorderly Conduct

A woman reported Oct. 24 that her son threatened her during a conversation. Officers responded to the scene, and when her son arrived she asked that he be trespassed from her home. He became upset and started using profane language. When officers attempted to restrain him he resisted arrest. He was charged with disorderly conduct and three counts of obstruction of law enforcement.

Theft by Taking

A woman reported Oct. 24 that she was fixing a woman’s hair in her home and that the individual took several of her Oxycodone pills from her bathroom while she was at the home.

Entering Automobile

It was reported Oct. 24 that a vehicle parked on West Thomas Circle had been entered and a purse stolen. Various identification cards, cash and credit cards were taken.
